Studio Tour Weekend Only Days Away!

Join us September 28 - 30th, 10am - 5pm, for a delicious feast for the eyes!

This is the time of year when we encourage the community to visit our rural property, give them an opportunity to see the inner workings of our pottery studio and spend time explaining our designs and our method. It's also a chance for you to start your holiday shopping, find a treasure to take home (just for you!) and try your hand at clay!

In addition to our own designs, we are thrilled again to be hosting two fantastic artists during the tour weekend, who you can read more about below.

The best way to give you a flavour of what you'll experience is to show you. Enjoy this sneak peek and see you soon!

Triple Dip Hors d'oeuvres Tray

New for 2012...A wide range of stoneware and porcelain mugs.
(There's bound to be one just right for you.)

Bibelot Design

Bibelot was started by Christine McGrath in 1994. The company began by designing jewelry and small items and has evolved into a line of fresh, modern and sophisticated home accents using glass, textiles and wood veneer.

Bibelot now creates frames, coasters, nightlights, candle lanterns, mirrors, clocks and a range of holiday ornaments. They  also work closely with customers to produce larger one of kind items. Each piece is handcrafted from start to finish with great attention to detail.

Christine's husband Reid Maltby joined Bibelot full time in 2006. He is now fully involved in the creative process. Their work can be found in shops and galleries in Canada and the US. Their creative process is inspired by the beauty of their surroundings in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario.

Just Perfect Designs

Jennifer Nicholson's home studio is located in Millbank, Ontario.  She handcrafts all her jewellery using solid sterling silver, copper and at times, titanium.

She's always been artistic, drawing and painting, but after taking a night class in Silversmithing in 2004, she knew she'd found her passion!

All her pieces are cut by hand with a jeweller's saw, hand polished and assembled.

Her original designs are a product of her creative imagination, love of nature, and quirky sense of humour.

Jennifer enjoys working on custom orders, so don't hesitate to discuss your ideas with her this weekend.  Together you can create a unique piece combining your inspiration and her talents!
